Google Reinclusion Request Google Banned Site Information
or
Mommy Dearest, Google Big Daddy with the Big Stick
Just reading Matt Cutt’s special section on how to file a reinclusion request submission to Google. This is a request you make to Google if, one day you wake up to find out, Google is no longer giving out your site as something relevant to searchers for your name, business or whatever. We have links and information to help you figure out what happened.
Like some screwed up vengeance thing, the Google reinclusion request will have you basically on your knees searching your site, then crawling back to Google to beg for a place back in their engine. They will never talk to you directly, and most certainly never admit they manually delete or reinsert anyone. But they do!
Hmmm, I think there is a problem with this.
I am looking at Google and who the hell they are? Are you a search engine I come to for relevant searches? How can I get them if you have rules that make web sites and owners do things they do not naturally do? After reading Matt’s blog and seeing all the people you have squirming, and giving up their sites after your screwing and non-communication, I have to dig into more of your crap to see what this is all about.
Google has the people of the Internet believe that all affiliate programs are bad. None pay. If you have some on your site they don’t like, or too many (in their subjective criteria) you will be dropped to the can. The only affiliate program Google accepts, Google Adsense. Interesting?
No hidden text, no redirects, no java or flash files bringing you to other content. While subjectively they can be explained as something bad, proactively they can be there for something good. Yet Google will make no distinction between a flash files bringing you to more good content or a spammers flash bringing you to some advertiser. We also have to wonder why Google insists that the only redirect or advertisers must be Google or you go bump to the night.
But the main problem comes from the insidious reinclusion request and what Google expects from the sites whose content Google sells to Advertisers. Without any input from Google administrators, they will take you out of their database or stop your website listing from being displayed on a search. Then without any information to help you understand, they expect you to look at every page you have and redo your site to their lengthy and suspect specifications. After all of that, you must fill out this funky reinclusion request. Funky? Yes, really funky.
In this requests you are expected, from Cutt’s own words:
"Google wants to know two things: 1) that any spam on the site is gone or fixed, and 2) that it’s not going to happen again. I’d recommend giving a short explanation of what happened from your perspective: what actions may have led to any penalties and any corrective action that you’ve taken to prevent any spam in the future. If you employed an SEO company, it indicates good faith if you tell us specifics about the SEO firm and what they did–it assists us in evaluating reinclusion requests. Note that SEO and mostly-affiliate sites may need to provide more evidence of good faith before a site will be reincluded; such sites should be quite familiar with Google’s quality guidelines."
First, such statements cannot be made if automated scripts kept the search engine working, this shows and proves that Google employees manually inflict these punishments to websites and manually review and remove them. So, 1) they want to know if you found anything they never told you they have a problem with, and 2) they want you to apologize for it and promise never to do it again. They also want you to explain yourself. Explain that you know why Google punishes you, and what guards you put up. Promise never to be bad Googlites anymore. Further if you used some firm to help with your site, you have to squeal like a pig on them too. The funniest thing is to watch webmasters happy to put on this google pink tutu, to do the google dance, and do anything to get back in their listings. Even though it will take months if at all and then you will be on page 2003. So? What is the groveling about? There are better and easier ways around those bans and to garner your earned listings.
Now, I don’t know about you, but this kind of horse puck smells so fragrant of fascism that Google really have no place in a free and open society. But Freedom allows idiots like Google to try it on and see if it flies. It is up to us to see their crap for what it is. This is not an engine for relevant search; it is an engine for advertising sales using sanitized web sites on the Internet.
So, who is Google then? If they are a search engine, placing them in a position where they make claims that they give the best, fastest, and most relevant in returns, they cannot be so blithe in they handling of the very websites that contain the valuable content they must return to searchers in making that claim. Google are not the kind of search engine that gives returns for just content, MSN search is that one.
Google is a corporation whose profits derive from selling advertising and placing the advertising in the places that advertisers want. Their business is not search it is advertising sales. Their job is not to deliver relevant returns on search, but to deliver relevant terms for the advertiser to garner interested parties (unaware search users or web site visitors) to his product or website through the artificial injection of advertising on the relevant sites for the advertisers terms. Let me give that to you another way, because you must get this before you can see the wolf in sheep clothing: Google, the corporation, has the business mission to bring relevant customers to advertisers using websites that have content relevant to the advertiser. Google uses the website content to charge customers more money for relevant placement of their advertising, then place the advertising into that website, and allowing their search engine to display that website as a return on the advertisers relevant keywords to bring home the bacon for Google. The advertiser is still left to make the sale to the visitor and make any money on the transaction. Ladies and Gentleman, Google has made it''s profit and left the building.
Come on Google; look at your own web guy’s blog! Matt Cutt has a whole litany of sites that Google has gassed to death. They are all like you and me, little guys with sites. All of them never got a clue of anything wrong from Google, just cut off. And big daddy Google makes them crawl on their knees, laughing at them on their coffee break. One guy is wailing the blues for hidden text on his site, he is 5 months with no business, even though he cleared all the errors (did the google dance and put on their pink tutu, dancing like a fool and looking it too). Yet after all the song and dancing he gets nothing, not a listing, not an email. Google still just sits back, giving the webmasters nothing at all, no message, and no satisfaction. Just go read the web site owners lament On Matt’s blog comments on reinclusion; they pine away for their master’s attention. It is like the old Wild West and Google is the bad guy with the gun making the poor townspeople dance while shooting at their feet.
I think it is time to turn our backs on this monolithic monster and go where search results are less restricted. In a long series of articles we have shown MSN gives faster and more relevant searches for events and updated websites than Google. Why go where information takes months to go through the process when you can get NOW results from MSN? Why search where sites are picked to put advertising on? You fall right into the hands of the bankers, who recently bought Google on their stock market. We know bankers have always had the little guy as a target for their profits, and never in their hearts. Google is no different.
