When someone popped the message up in my Skype window with a link to Search Me I was not in the mood. I went there anyway as this was sent from a pretty cool artist. At first it looked like Cuil, the bandwidth hogs from hell, until I did a search.

What came up was a huge carousel of imagery. Homepages! Amazing. The first thing that struck me was how nice our page here came up for a search on Tektalk. Nice guys. But then the other selections open up as you slide the viewer revealing other cool sites. We checked out a lot of cool words and searches and they all came up with pretty good sites. I did not find one MFA (made for adsense) website! Possibly the only spam was on the search for “onlinetv” which brought up a hundred sites selling the same player and not one listing for our favorite video search guide OnlineTV.us – the site is a couple years old so you have to wonder about that one.

The best thing is you can page through these listings and look. You can certainly see where someone made a nice site, over did it, too corporate, or just plain blogs. You have a stack, which is like favorites, and they are working to add features.

I was amazed how they somehow stripped out the redundant MFA sites. That alone being worth it. It has to be hand edited in some ways and we wonder how it is done.

Our cruise over there was fast, brought up the images quick, and found lots of things we were looking for and some we were not – but were happy to see. We found the whole experience exciting and think you will too. Now if we can get them to pick up the missing sites we like.
